Are wired or wireless security cameras better?
For permanent security, wired PoE cameras win. They get constant power and a rock-solid connection through a single cable, so there are no batteries to charge and no Wi-Fi dropouts right when you need footage. We use wireless cameras only where running cable truly isn't practical.
How long is camera footage kept?
It depends on your recorder's storage size, the number of cameras, and recording resolution. Most systems we install keep several weeks of footage. We size the storage to your goals during the design, and it can always be expanded later.
Can I watch my cameras from my phone?
Yes. Every system we install includes a phone app with live viewing, playback, and motion alerts, so you can check on your home or business from anywhere.
Do security cameras need internet to work?
Recording does not. Footage is captured locally on your recorder, so cameras keep recording even if your internet goes out. You only need internet for remote viewing and phone alerts.
How much does security camera installation cost?
